As a Java Backend Engineer (d/f/m) you will build applications and platforms that “just work” and design event-driven microservice architectures in the cloud, always keeping the scalability in mind. The dev team will find itself well-provided by your tools and libs. Exciting tasks await in Munich!

Your Key Responsibilities

  • your design-masterpieces will be reliable B2C applications based on Java and end-to-end distributed cloud-based systems
  • you also provide libraries and tools for the microservice ecosystem
  • scalable, event-driven systems will be your field of work
  • keeping up to date with the latest techs and trends is a matter of honour for you
  • when on call you are on the spot to escalate some tickets

Your Profile

  • you can look back on years of professional experience in developing software with an object-oriented language
  • you have experience in a sophisticated system environment
  • and you know your way around Linux
  • you are familiar with distributed systems or you have already worked on microservice architectures
  • you know what is important for event-driven platforms
  • thanks to Pub/Sub and tools like NSQ, Kafka and RabbitMQ you show all messages their way
