As a Data Engineer (d/f/m) for aviation analytics, you will turn data analysis and the DWH into high flyers. You will construct complex data architectures in the cloud, identify different data sources and build the pipelines to tap them. Your Key Responsibilities

  • you will enter the field of aviation analytics and build complex data architectures on the foundation of cloud and open source technologies
  • you will design and construct ETL processes and data pipelines using SQL and AWS' own big data tools
  • you will identify data sources and compile and prepare data for functional and non-functional business needs
  • you will also identify and implement suitable analysis tools
  • stakeholders can rely on your expertise for technical problems with the data infrastructure

Your Profile

  • you can look back on professional experience in the BI environment as well as with Data Analytics
  • having already worked on data pipelines, you are familiar with large data sets and complex data architectures
  • Big Data tools (à la Hadoop, Spark, Impala, Presto) are nothing new to you
  • you also have an insight into Data Science and corresponding tools, such as KNIME, RStudio, Zeppelin or Jupyter
  • knowledge of one of the following programming language is key as well: Java, Scala, Python and R
  • you will prove your pronounced communication skills in an international environment thanks to fluent English

Your Nice-To-Haves

  • experience with visualization, reporting and modeling tools (Tableau or TIBCO) would be the cream on the ice-cream sundae
  • E2E experience in the data area would be the cherry on top
